A journey in different times, made by travellers engaged on several rescue missions (of a forest made up of all existing plants, threatened by disappearance; of a knowledge of the world and the ways to recall it; of images nearly lost which must be tracked down and restored), who in the process come to realize the scope of their task and their limited means to accomplish it. These stories are made with images new and borrowed, as moments from silent and early sound films coexist with present day visions. We follow the ark's journey as its crew pursue their quest to beat time.
