Intimate search within the Kurdish community, the story begins in Paris when I see from my window Kurdish men demonstrating bare-chested in the streets. It continues with a trip to Turkey in the company of Oktay, the Kurdish man I love. During our gradual ascension up the mountains of Kurdistan, we meet guerilla fighters, families who love each other jealously, gold diggers, an old witch casting spells. Through these encounters we sense what ties us, unites us, brings us together.
